If you’ve always wanted an art piece on your wall, now is the best time to scour for one.

Shelter Fund, an artist initiative by Shutterspace Studios’ Silver, brings you Print Jam 2020, an online exhibition and sale featuring over 450 original artworks from 200 local artists, including photographers, painters, and illustrators.

Print Jam, which starts at 12 noon on November 7 and runs until November 20, lets artists showcase their works and make a sale through the Shelter Fund website, without having to rent a studio or gallery. Like other Shelter Fund projects, Print Jam aims to help buoy artists amid the pandemic by bringing them closer to the public.

Participating artists include both up-and-coming and renowned artists like Francisco Guerrero, Lena Cobangbang, Martin San Diego, Sonny Thakur, Ezra Acayan,Ivan Torres, Regine David, and many others.

Each piece is original and printed on-demand using archival, heavyweight paper, then personally signed by the artist. You can choose from A2, A3, A4, and A5 sizes, and even add a gallery frame (four options; additional P850 for the frame). Prints start at P2,500, depending on the artist and piece. Payments can be made via Paypal or credit card (including Paymaya).

Unlike gallery shows, you won’t have to rush to get first dibs on artworks as they are open editions. Buy as many of the same art piece as you want, or gift it to friends and family.

Prints are delivered in neat hard boards or tubes (with bubble wrap for those who have frames), so you’re sure it’s going to reach you wrinkle-free and spotless.

To start searching for prints, you can go to Shelter Fund’s website, or follow them on Instagram for more updates.
