Seat Sale Alert: Ceb Pac Returns with P88 Base Fare

Boracay

The Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has announced on June 1 that people living in the NCR Plus Bubble (Metro Manila, Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan) may travel to destinations outside the bubble that are under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ). With this, some welcome news was released by budget airline Cebu Pacific: a seat sale featuring a one-way base fare of P88 to local destinations!

The seat sale includes routes departing Manila, Cebu, Clark, Davao, and Zamboanga and is available for booking from June 1 to 11, 2021. Travel period must be done from November 1, 2021 to March 26, 2022. However, given the volatility of tourism in these times, CebPac has also offered unlimited rebooking  with no change fees in case your flight gets cancelled during the said travel period.

If a flight is cancelled, you may opt to store the cash value of your ticket(s) into your CebPac Travel Fund, which you may use for future travels.

This exciting offer coincides with the recent reopening of key tourism destinations in the country. As mandated by the IATF, much of the country has been categorized as falling under MGCQ, the laxest of all quarantine restrictions.

Locations under MGCQ may accept travelers, and only those below 18 and above 65 years old are required to undergo an RT-PCR test prior to their inbound flights/ trips. Of course, restrictions still depend on the respective local government units (LGUs), so be sure to check LGU requirements when planning a trip.

Recently, popular beach destinations such as Bohol and Boracay also announced that leisure travelers from the NCR Plus Bubble are welcome, making CebPac’s seat sale is a much awaited development for travel-thirsty Pinoys.

CebPac now flies twice daily from Manila to Boracay, with regular flights to Bohol, Cebu, and other top travel sites in the country.
