Sofitel’s Spiral is Reopening This October

Spiral, Manila’s most iconic luxury buffet restaurant, is set to reopen on October 2, following a 6-month closure due to government-mandated restrictions to prevent COVID-19 spread.

In a Facebook post posted on September 17, the restaurant shared, “The date is finally set!  October 2 marks the reopening of our doors to gourmands and connoisseurs alike.”

Spiral is known for its jaw-dropping selection of world cuisine, which are spread across 21 ateliers. Its award-winning curation includes Japanese, North Indian, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Filipino, and includes a patisserie and creamery. The highlight of the experience, however, are its French ateliers, which consist of La boulangerie, a patisserie, a French oven, and L’épicerie.

New normal dining

With measures in place to ensure the safety of guests, changes in the Spiral dining experience are expected. Instead of the usual buffet dining, Spiral invites guests to dine Central Market style, where guests can select from six main menus: Fritto Misto, Casserole, Seafood Aiforno, Grill, Chinese, and Japanese. Guests will be able to customise and choose fresh ingredients and have Spiral’s chefs prepare their meals as they like.

Spiral also promises a secret menu – which patrons can request from chefs.

Spiral will operate from Thursday to Sunday, starting on October 2 until October 18, from 12 pm to 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm to 9 pm. To dine, guests must have prior reservations. To book a slot, call +632-8832-6988 or visit https://spiralmanila.com/contactus to make an online reservation.

Spiral is headed by newly appointed Executive Chef Bettina Arguelles, the first Filipina Executive Chef in a 5-star international hotel and a recipient of the World Gourmet Awards’ Chef of the Year 2019 Award.
